As a starting point we will be using a small video from Ray Vander Laan, a series called Faith lessons, to be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVuq02QGvK0
This five-session Bible study series by teacher and historian, Ray Vander Laan, titled, “That the World May Know” shows us how God guided His people to a specific place – the Promised Land – to impact the world both in ancient times and today. Just like the time and place of our birth shapes our journey, so the land and culture of the Jewish people shaped their story.
Faith Lessons is a unique video series that brings God’s Word to life. Through these videos you will learn about the Bible’s fascinating historical, cultural, religious, and geographical contexts and discover the unique insights into the Scriptures’ significance for modern believers.
We will watch and discuss these videos together and gain a new understanding and appreciation of God’s Word.
DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH … IN KIEL?
Nico: For over 25 years God gave me the opportunity to serve as a pastor, hospital chaplain and military chaplain in the French Navy and in other parts of the world.
Natacha: After having worked for 13 years with Wycliffe Bible translators in the USA, Central Asia and other countries, the Lord gave me the opportunity for seven years to equip women in their faith by recording many Christian TV programs.
We have lived in different countries and experienced different cultures as well as different Christian denominations and church settings. Those experiences have enriched and equipped us tremendously to serve internationals from any background.
As a couple, we know that God calls us to join our experiences in international settings and we are excited to offer this International Christian Fellowship, for English speakers, in unity with the local christian churches.
The International Church of Kiel invites you to the Thanksgiving dinner.
When: Friday November 24th, from 18:30 to 20:30 (Feel free to arrive whenever possible for you)
Where: At the Christus Kirche, our host church.
What to bring: your friends + your favorite starter/salad or dessert to share.
We will provide the main dish (meat and side-dish) and drinks.
Please let us know if you plan to come by contacting us here.
We look forward to celebrating with you the Giver of “all good gifts” Mat7:11
